Farm Bureau Extends Invitation To Crop Survey

The annual Bond County crop survey is coming up Tuesday, August 19.

“The crop survey will start with registration at 8:00 a.m.,” Bond and Fayette County Farm Bureau Manager Stephanie Kraus told WGEL. “If you want to join us, just come on in to the Farm Bureau office and we’ll sign you up. Teams will depart around 8:30. They’ll go to various places around the county and collect different samples from fields. Through that, we’ll be able to estimate what we think yields will be this year. It should last around three hours and after we come back we’ll have lunch for everybody.”
