Kingsbury Park District Approves Lease For New Office

In their meeting this week, the Kingsbury Park District approved a two-year lease for office space located at 610 East City Rt. 40. The space was formerly a laundromat and document storage facility, so some renovations are necessary prior to the KPD moving in. Park district officials expect to begin moving out of their current location on the Greenville square in mid-October.

The new facility is approximately 4,000-square feet and will include two program spaces, allowing for additional park district offerings.

The board also approved the purchase of a Ford F-250 truck through the State of Illinois’ joint purchase program.
