Roy Beisswenger Recognized For Contribution To Light Aircraft

Local light aircraft enthusiast Roy Beisswenger was recently recognized by the Experimental Aircraft Association. Beisswenger was recognized as an individual who has “contributed significantly to light aviation”.

Beisswenger has been involved in recreational aviation since the early 90’s, teaching powered parachute flight at his school, Easy Flight, at the Greenville Airport. He is the publisher of Powered Sport Flying Magazine, writes for international aviation flight magazines, serves as the president of the US Ultralight Association, and for several years organized the Chute Out on the Prairie Powered Parachute World Championships.

Beisswenger also serves as the US delegate to the Federation Aviation Internationale.
