In a special meeting Thursday night, the Unit 2 School Board approved several hires for the School year.
Sarah King was reinstated as a first grade teacher at the Pocahontas Center. Nick Elam was hired as a first grade teacher at Greenville Elementary School. Several Aids were approved, including Andrew Crosswait for Special Education Aide at Greenville High School, Beth Schwierjohn at Greenville Elementary School, Jennifer Semanisin Pre K and Greenville Elementary, and Nicole Detmer at Greenville Elementary. Emily Laesch was transferred from the High School to the Unit Office as a Secretary.
The next regular School Board meeting will be held on Monday, August 18th.
