USDA Estimates Good Yield For Illinois

The USDA has released their crop estimates for Illinois. WGEL’s Farm Reporter, Joe Doll, says the yield looks good.

“The USDA came out with their crop estimates for Illinois and they say Illinois should produce 188 bushel of corn per acre and 54 bushel of beans,” Doll said.

Bond County farmers are scheduled to participate in the annual Bond County Farm Bureau Crop Survey Tuesday, August 19.
