A Bond County Sheriff’s Deputy and Bond County EMS responded Wednesday, at 9:24 a.m., to a car/deer accident on the Red Ball Trail south of Lynch Loop Road. According to the accident report, Wayne P. Romanik, age 42, of Greenville was southbound on the Red Ball Trail, in a Chrysler Lebaron, when a deer ran into the roadway. Romanik’s car hit the deer and then the ditch. Bond County EMS took Romanik to Greenville Regional Hospital for treatment.
