County Board Accepts Hemker’s Resignation As Animal Control Officer

In their meeting this week the Bond County Board accepted a letter of resignation from Dr. Lynette Hemker as Animal Control Officer for Bond County. Applications for the position of Animal Control Officer are now being accepted. Applicants must be knowledgeable of the Illinois Animal Control Act and Bond County rules and regulations. The board approved a county aid project for the Bond County Highway Department on Rench Avenue in Pleasant Mound Township in the amount of $4,500.

And the board announced the appointment of William Archibald to the Smithboro Fire Protection District, due to the resignation of Donald Carter. The term will end April 30, 2015.
