Highland Teacher’s Strike Resumes, Tentative Offer Rejected

It was another day out of school and another day on the picket line in the Highland School District Monday after teachers rejected a tentative contract offer Sunday. The teachers continued the strike today that began Thursday. That offer included a $750 stipend instead of a raise and no change in health insurance premiums. It’s not clear when the next negotiation session might occur or when classes might resume.
