The St. Louis division of the National Weather Service will host an open house this Saturday at their facility in St. Charles, MO.
“We will have an open house here at the Weather Service Saturday, September 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.,” Jim Kramper, Warning Coordination Meteorologist with the National Weather Service, told WGEL. “We will have displays in the parking lot. We’re going to have some guests out there; some local emergency management agencies with their mobile command posts, we’re going to have an amateur radio display, we’ll have a few tents in the parking lot giving displays about climate and weather operations.
“And you can actually get inside the building. We’ll have some demonstrations inside the building of some of the things we do. It’s open to anybody. For more information, there’s a link on our website and anybody on Facebook can find us there as well.”
