The Staunton FFA Alumni will hold their Eighth Annual Tractor Ride Saturday, September 6 at Fireman’s Park in Staunton. Line up for the ride begins at 7:00 a.m. and the ride will get underway promptly at 8:00 a.m.
Roger Dustman with the Staunton FFA Alumni told WGEL more about the event.
“I think the first tractor ride was about 25 tractors,” Dustman said. “We’ve been getting up around 80-90. Through the years we’ve had some really rare tractors in the ride. We get some really unique tractors.
“This year we’re going to ride approximately 20 to 24 miles. We’ll be back around 1:00 p.m. or so. We’ll have ‘Pickin’ & Grinnin’ and refreshments and dinner. You can buy tickets for the dinner. After the dinner is over, we’re going to have a dyno set up.”
