Still No Classes In Highland

Wednesday marked day five of a teacher strike in Highland. Negotiations have stalled between both sides who say they can’t find a middle ground on the issue of pay. The union and administrators met Tuesday night to hold contract talks. Teachers have been without a contract since the end of August. Students have been out of class since last Thursday and all athletic and extra-curricular activities have been called off.
