More than 2,000 people from the region attended Southwestern Electric Cooperative’s 76th Annual Meeting of Members Saturday at the Greenville Junior High.
As part of the meeting, Southwestern Electric members elected one member from each of the co-op’s three voting districts to serve on the cooperative’s board of directors.
For District I, incumbent Richard Gusewelle of Edwardsville was re-elected. In District II, incumbent Sandy Nevinger of Greenville ran unopposed and was re-elected. Incumbent Barbara Tedrick of Vandalia was re-elected to represent District III.
Each director will serve a three-year term on the board.
