One of the busiest weekends of the year in our area was this past Saturday and Sunday. Two of the biggest events were the Apple Day in downtown Greenville and the Airstravaganza at the Greenville Airport. Large crowds gathered for both and below are some scenes from Saturday’s activities.

Large Crowd in Downtown Greenville for Apple Day
Apple Day featured a Chili Cook Off co-sponsored by The Greenville Lions Club & The Greenville Chamber of Commerce. Here some of the organizers and Judges are talking beans and staying warm.
Unfortunately the recent heavy rains lead to high water around Ripson Bridge which forced organizers to cancel this year’s event.
If you have pictures from this last weekend’s events you would like to share email them to ryan@wgel.com.
