Donnell-Wiegand Hosts Chainsaw Artists

The Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville recently removed a 100-plus year old Sycamore tree from their parking lot.

On Tuesday, they invited the public to bring a lawn chair and watch the Robinson Carving Company from Montgomery City, MO create an original work of art from the 10-foot stump that was left behind.

Bill Donnell told WGEL the artists will be on-site working again Wednesday from around 8:00 a.m. until the work is done.
