Greenville City Council to Consider $25,000 Donation to Bicentennial Celebration


The Greenville City Council will meet in special session Tuesday night at City Hall. The main item on the agenda is a possible $25,000 donation to the Greenville Bicentennial celebrations that are planned for 2015. The funds in this budget would come out of the Tourism Fund.

The council will also consider two minor recommendations from the Plan Commission, one to vacate an alley near the where the old senior center was located and the annexation of a piece of property near Cardinal Drive.
