Historical & Genealogical Societies To Meet

The Hoiles Davis Museum

The Bond County Historical Society and Bond County Genealogical Society will hold a join dinner meeting Tuesday, October 28 at 6:00 p.m. in the Bradford Community Building.

Kevin Kaegy of the Historical Society told us the evening will begin with a catered meal at 6:00 p.m. At 7:00 p.m., Kaegy will present a program on, “Abraham Lincoln and the legend of Ann Rutledge and some of the New Salem days and Lincoln’s early education.

“It ought to be an interesting time and, certainly, everyone is welcome to come,” he told WGEL

Tickets to the dinner and program are $15 and can be purchased at Watson’s, Bond County Realtors, or Bradford National Bank.
