Madison County Staff Officer Selected By FBI To Attend Academy

Madison County Sheriff Robert J. Hertz has announced that another staff officer with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office has been selected by the Federal Bureau of Investigation to attend the prestigious National Academy early next year.

48 year old Lieutenant David W. Joseph, upon recommendation by Sheriff Hertz, will be attending the FBI National Academy from April through June of 2015 in Quantico, Virginia. Joseph is from Glen Carbon and has worked for the Madison County Sheriff’s Office for 23 years. He currently serves as Patrol Division Watch Commander.

Prior to Joseph, ten current and past staff members from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office have graduated from the academy.
