At the Mulberry Grove Board of Education meeting Monday, Superintendent Brad Turner reported the district is receiving general state aid payments on time. The district also received Title I and II funds from the state. Transportation and special education funding vouchers have been approved but not yet released. District finances look pretty good with the exception of the transportation fund.
The board approved the annual audit report.
Following an executive session, the board hired Justin Joiner Elementary basketball coach and Max Aten and Stan Breuchard substitute bus drivers. They approved a letter of retirement for District Secretary Deb Jaskowiak and the graduation of one student at semester time.
