Bond County landowners who have applied for coal rights options should be contacted by the Bond County Clerk’s office next week. County Clerk Randy Reitz told WGEL that State’s Attorney Chris Bauer has worked through approximately 150 coal rights options and Reitz’s office is now matching each option with the appropriate application.
Reitz’s office staff started making phone calls Tuesday and will continue contacting applicants through next week. Reitz said applicants will be provided with all necessary information when contacted.
