A 2-car accident Tuesday in Greenville sent one person to the hospital. According to the accident report, Kyeiyah A. Naona, age 18, of Greenville, was eastbound on South Avenue in a Dodge Intreped. Taylor M. Steele, age 17, of Pocahontas, was going south on Third Street, in a Dodge Stratus. Naona allegedly continued into the intersection and Steele could not avoid striking her car. Bond County EMS took Naona to Greenville Regional Hospital. Steele was not injured. Naona was cited for alleged failure to yield at a stop intersection.
