Unusual Lunar Eclipse Wednesday

A “blood moon” total lunar eclipse will occur Wednesday morning. The eclipse starts at 4:15 a.m. and will end at 7:34 a.m. It will give the moon a rust-red color, resulting in a “blood moon”. This is the result of sun rays reflecting off the surface of the earth. The eclipse will start at 4:15 a.m., but experts say the best time to watch may be at 6:24 a.m. when the moon starts to leave the total eclipse.
