A Cold Thanksgiving, Followed By A Warm Weekend

According to the National Weather Service, a fast-moving clipper system will bring a chance for rain or snow to parts of the region on Wednesday, and some light snow accumulations will be possible from eastern Iowa into eastern Missouri and western Illinois on this big holiday travel day. Colder air dropping south in the wake of this system will mean a cold and dry Thanksgiving Day, but a big warming trend is forecast heading into the start of the weekend.
