GC Athletes Collect Canned Goods For Bond County Food Pantry

Student athletes at Greenville College recently collected canned food items to benefit the Bond County Food Pantry. The collection was a competition among schools in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. GC students collected 355 food items, which was the third highest total raised.

SLIAC officials say the goal of the program is to give back to communities and to further develop citizenship among its student athletes.
