Greenville High School will host its ninth annual Veterans Day celebration on Monday, November 11 in the school gym.
“Max Sussenbach will be speaking and the student body will all be in the gym,” GHS teacher Jennifer Dannaman told WGEL. “We’ve got a committee of students who come together to help organize the program and it’s quite heartwarming to see how all the student body shows patriotism and gratitude toward the veterans who are in attendance.
“In the past we’ve had between 35 and 50 veterans and we’d love to have even more.”
The public is welcome to attend the ceremony. All veterans are also welcome and encouraged to attend.
