Kaskaskia College recently conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for their new Nashville Education Center to be constructed on Highway 127 north of Nashville. The ceremony took place indoors at the Nashville Community Center on Tuesday, November 18.

KC officials say in order to continue to serve the educational needs of the Washington County area, they needed to expand their space. The current Nashville Education Center is a 3,500 square foot leased facility, while the new building will offer 11,500 square feet of educational and community space.
