Team Alyssa To Host Fundraisers At Area Businesses

As you’ve heard on WGEL’s Bond County Area News, family and friends of Crystal Anna Bone and her three children, who tragically lost their lives in an accident in Vandalia last week, are selling bracelets to raise funds to benefit the family. They’ve also organized several fundraising events at Greenville and Highland area restaurants.

“A team of Alyssa [Sewell]’s friends have gotten together and formed ‘Team Alyssa’,” family friend Amy Bohannon told WGEL. “There is a Facebook page for Team Alyssa that you can visit. We are selling bracelets for $2 apiece. You can donate more if you like.”

Team Alyssa will also hold fundraisers at E.L. Flannigan’s in Highland and at Joe’s Pizza in Greenville on November 11th. Donations will be accepted at those locations on the specified dates and proceeds from sales will benefit Team Alyssa, which will donate all money raised directly to the family.

Bohannon said a third fundraiser is being planned for November 24 at Nuby’s, west of Greenville. Further details will be announced soon.
