Bicentennial Celebration Starts Tonight

Tonight is the night for the big Greenville Bicentennial kick off. Back in 1815 Greenville got its start and the year-long celebrations start tonight with a Bicentennial Blast Off at the American Farm Heritage Museum. Many activities are planned from 7:00 p.m. to midnight.

Tonight’s event has free admission and is open to anyone of any age. There will be inflatables, games, a food booth, magician, juggler as well as cool chemistry demonstrations and a DJ. For more information about Greenville’s history and Bicentennial celebration plans visit

Again there is no charge to attend and all ages are welcome. Bond County Transit will provide shuttle service to and from the museum.
