Colder Weather On The Way

After a mild stretch of weather for the week of Christmas, it appears a shot of true winter air is headed towards the region this week.

The National Weather Service says a cold front will introduce the Arctic air mass Monday night and temperatures are not expected to warm much on Tuesday with a stiff north wind. The NWS predicts high temperatures of 37 Monday, 30 on Tuesday, and 25 on Wednesday.

This appears to be a rather short lived event though with temperatures returning to near normal by next weekend.
