Firefighters Extricate Driver After Accident on College Avenue Greenville Police, Greenville Firefighters, and Bond County EMS personnel responded Thursday, at 11:49 p.m., to an accident with injuries on College Avenue. According to the accident report, Evadene Sanders, age 92 of Greenville, was allegedly westbound on College Avenue in the eastbound lane when her Ford Focus ran off the left side of the roadway, crossed a private drive, and struck a tree.

The car continued on and struck a parking sign and due to the embankment rolled onto the passenger side. The car skidded approximately 40’ and came to rest in the eastbound lane of College Avenue. Greenville Firefighters removed a portion of the roof to get Sanders out of the car and Bond County EMS took her to Greenville Regional Hospital.
