The Sorento School annual canned food drive was another success. Classes in grades Pre k – grade 8 collected 989 food items for the Sorento Food Pantry. First grade collected the most food items donating an average of 11.6% of food and canned products per student. They will get a party courtesy of Mr. Carpenter after Christmas vacation. Students in grades 5-8 also collected $100.00 in cash for the Sorento Food Pantry.
