Brothers Of The Brush Registration Deadline Tuesday

The “Brothers of the Brush” contest, a highlight of the 1965 Sesquicentennial, is returning in 2015 for Greenville’s Bicentennial. There will be two divisions: Rookies, for those who are clean shaven prior to January 6, and Lifetimers, for those who have established facial hair prior to January 6. Judging is September 5. A winner will be chosen in each of six categories: longest beard, curliest beard, most unique beard, best Santa Claus beard, best goatee, and best mustache. Participants must be 18 or older and reside in Bond County. Entry forms and official rules are available at Jim’s Hair Cutting and Style Shoppe. Forms must be returned by January 6.
