Small communities like Pocahontas and Old Ripley sometimes struggle to maintain fire and EMS services. “We depend on donations to operate” said Pocahontas and Old Ripley Fire and EMS service board of trustees member, Kendall Brink. CHS recently donated $300 for new fire and EMS service equipment.

This Spring CHS will host an Anhydrous Ammonia safety training day for local first responders at their Pocahontas facility.
