Mulberry Grove Board Of Education Hears Good Financial Report

At the Tuesday night Mulberry Grove Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Brad Turner reported the district received the first categorical state aid payment for transportation in the amount of approximately $46,000.00. The payment came in just before the end of the year along with the Special Education payment of approximately $45,000.00. General state aid payments are still coming in on schedule.

The board approved the graduation date for this year. High school and junior high graduations will be Saturday, May 16, with the junior high graduation at 11:00 a.m. and high school graduation at 2:00 p.m.
The school calendar for the 2015-2016 school year was approved.

Following an executive session, the board accepted letters of resignation from Elementary Principal Annette Hartlieb and Junior High – High School Custodian Josh Terry. They also accepted a letter of retirement from bus driver Bill Eubank.
