The American Farm Heritage Museum is set to host a large gathering of tractor collectors in February.
“Every year the national Oliver group holds a winter get-together somewhere around the United States; it varies anywhere from California to New York to Pennsylvania. We rotate it all the time,” Sherry Schaefer with the museum told WGEL. “This year they decided to come to Greenville since we have a facility that will handle everything and is centrally located near all the interstates in the Midwest where a lot of tractor collectors are.
“Usually there’s in excess of 500 people that attend this get-together. Some of the locals will just be coming in and out and there’s no way of counting all of those. You can expect all the motel rooms to be full in town. It should be a good activity with a lot of people.”
The American Farm Heritage Museum is located just south of Greenville near Exit 45 on I-70. For more information, visit americanfarmheritagemuseum.com.
