Pipeline Company Has Filed With ICC

The Bond County Farm Bureau held an informational meeting in mid-December to educate area farmers on the Dakota Access Pipeline, which may make its way through portions of Bond and Fayette County. At the time of the meeting, the Dakota Access Pipeline company had not yet filed paperwork with the Illinois Commerce Commission.

WGEL spoke with Bond and Fayette County Farm Bureau Manager Stephanie Kraus for an update on that pipeline project:

Kraus said the project will still impact the northeastern portion of Bond County, however it’s not known specifically which fields will be affected.
