Route 127 South Of Carlyle Now Open

The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced that the bridge on IL Rt. 127 over the Kaskaskia River south of Carlyle is now open to all traffic. Construction activity will still be ongoing without lane closures.

IDOT officials say as early spring approaches, daytime lane closures will be required to complete installation of the final pavement markings.
