The St. Nicholas Church in Pocahontas hosted and American Red Cross blood drive Tuesday afternoon in the church hall. Twenty-nine people registered with 26 units collected, surpassing the Red Cross goal of 24 units. Chris Wempe and Don Hawley earned four-gallon pins and Jed Kalous a one-gallon pin.
