County Board Sets Inmate Prescription Rates

In their meeting Tuesday, the Bond County Board approved a resolution for inmate medical reimbursement. The resolution sets rates for medical prescriptions provided by the county for inmates at the same rate as public aid.

The board approved the Bond County Ministerial Alliance to use the courthouse steps for the National Day of Prayer on May 7th.
The board also heard a bid from Z & Z Electric for replacing some lighting at the courthouse and annex. The project would involve reimbursement from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. The board plans to work with the building commission to see if the light replacement project can proceed according to the DCEO timeline for this year.

And the board approved Sue Backs, Dennis Lingley, and Wes Pourchot to positions on the University of Illinois Extension Committee Board.
