Greenville Code Enforcement Officer Joe Craver is now certified as a Master Code Professional with the International Code Council. The Master Code Professional certification is the highest level of ICC certification and has become the gold standard for demonstrating proficiency in the building and fire safety profession.

To become an ICC Master Code Professional, a candidate must first earn eight core ICC certifications plus additional elective ICC certifications. Typically, Master Code Professionals have 17 or more ICC certifications and must complete 34 hours of continuing education units every three years to maintain active status.

Craver was recognized for the certification during the February Greenville City Council Meeting.
