Greenville Firefighters were called Thursday, at 4:03 p.m., to a report of a garage fire at a residence on College Avenue. According to Fire Chief Bill Johnston, there was some structural damage to the detached garage and a nearby wooden fence was also damaged. Damage is estimated at approximately $16,000.00. According to the fire report, an investigator has ruled the cause undetermined. There were no injuries and firefighters were on the scene about an hour.
