GES Students Take In Ameren Safety Demonstration

Carl Fisher, Ameren Illinois community relations coordinator, talked with fourth grade students at Greenville Elementary School Thursday about electric safety.

Fisher used the company’s My Safe City presentation to explain how electricity works and how students can be aware of potentially hazardous situations such as downed wires, playing near utility equipment, and working near overhead or underground facilities. Students were encouraged to take these safety messages home and share them with their parents and family members.
