Greenville’s Delight is a local chapter of a national organization called The Giving Doll. The Giving Doll provides dolls to children around the world in need of comfort, love, faith, and joy. Tonie Speraneo of the Greenville’s Delight chapter, told WGEL more about The Giving Doll organization:

The group recently took several dolls to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis and are now working on a batch to share with Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.

Greenville’s Delight volunteers meet on the first and third Monday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the St. Lawrence Church Hall. Speraneo said all skill levels are welcome and donations of old fabric, yarn, and other materials are always accepted. If you cannot attend the meetings, you may help from home.
