Greenville Police January Activity Report

The Greenville Police Department January report shows officers responded to four cases of battery. There were two residential burglaries, one theft from a motor vehicle, two cases of shoplifting, and five reports of criminal damage to property. There was one offense involving juveniles, three for illegal drugs, and one for illegal possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Officers wrote eight citations for driving an uninsured motor vehicle, four for driver’s license violations, four seat belt infractions, and five other traffic violations. They made 28 traffic arrests and 12 criminal arrests and responded to eight traffic accidents, one with injuries.

Local fire protection districts had 69 calls in January.
