One of the most popular bands of the late ‘70s will be in concert Sunday, September 6 during the Greenville Bicentennial. The Little River Band will celebrate its 40th anniversary by performing at Greenville’s 200th birthday party. The group scored 13 Top 40 hits in the United States between 1975 and 1983, including “Reminiscing”, “Lonesome Loser”, and “Help Is On Its Way”.
The Greenville Bicentennial previously announced that the Bellamy Brothers would perform on Saturday, September 5. Event organizers say they wanted national recording artists as the featured entertainment each night of the Bicentennial celebration. Local and regional performers of various styles of music will perform throughout both days.
