Mulberry Grove Village Board Agrees To Retirement Payment

At the Monday meeting of the Mulberry Grove Village Board, Cherie Henson reported a Finance Committee recommendation concerning the issue of paying employee retirement accounts for 2012, 2013, and 2014. She said the annual board contribution of $1100.00 per employee had not been paid for these years for an unknown reason and the payment plus interest totaled $3,467 for each of two employees currently in a retirement plan. The third employee is newer to the village and cannot get the same retirement plan. The board voted to give the same amount to each employee in the amount of $10,401.00 bringing the retirement accounts up to date through 2014.
