National Weather Service Offers Weather Safety Course In Vandalia

The National Weather Service is offering a Weather Safety Course in Vandalia Thursday evening, February 26 for anyone interested in being trained as a weather spotter. The class will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Fayette County Health Department on West Edwards Street.

Jim Kramper, Warning Coordination Meteorologist at the National Weather Service in St. Louis, told WGEL what’s covered in the course, and the importance of having trained weather spotters:
