American Red Cross Blood Drive At VFW Post 1377

VFW Post 1377 sponsored an American Red Cross blood drive Thursday, March 19. Forty-seven people registered. Forty-one units of whole blood and six units of red blood cells were collected for a total of 47 units. The goal set by the Red Cross was 44 units. Matt Kapp received a 24-gallon pin, Larry Martin a 9-gallon pin, Pam Tompkins an 8-gallon pin, Bobby Suess a 7-gallon pin, Thomas Schaefer a 3-gallon pin, and Anna Piper a 2-gallon pin. Laurie Vosholler, Dean Thole, and Jim Cruthis each donated two units of red blood cells.
