Bond County Board Announces Vacancies, Changes April Meetings

In this week’s Bond County Board meeting, the board announced a vacancy on the Robinson Cemetery Board for a term that will expire in 2019, due to the resignation of Jim Markey. They also announced two openings on the Bond County Housing Authority Board for five-year terms.

The board changed the date of their first April meeting from Tuesday, April 7 to Wednesday, April 8 due to the April 7 election. They also voted to move the location of both of their April meetings; each will be held at the Bond County Health Department rather than the courthouse, in observance of National Public Health Week, which is the first full week of April.
