Betty Boehm Is Featured Quilter At Historical Society Quilt Show

Betty Boehm, teacher, principal, wife, mother, and game show contestant is the featured quilter at this year’s Bond County Historical Society Quilt Show Saturday, May 2. Betty made her first quilt when she was ten years old and has made more than 100 bed-size quilts and more than 60 throw-size quilts she donated to various charities. Forty to fifty of Betty’s quilts will be on display at the show including her first, her favorite, a Cardinal baseball themed quilt, and some scrappy quilts. The show will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Greenville Free Methodist Church and admission is $3.00. For more information, call Wanda at 326-8451.
