Chief Warns Against Pedestrian Texting

Many pedestrians don’t realize the dangers of walking and texting.

Greenville Chief Police Lou Lorton told WGEL his thoughts about the problem, which often occurs in crosswalks by people of all ages.

Chief Lorton said pedestrians should not assume motorists see them and walkers should concentrate on being aware of their surroundings.
